Seven Buildings, a rectory, auditorium, convent and three schools were saved from near destruction. This collection of classic New Orleans brick architecture is again relevant to the people. Buildings that have inspired legions of poor immigrants again provide hope in a very poor community, as they supply wonderful housing for the grandparents of the neighborhood.
